Residential Home for the Elderly

Whether you want piece and quiet or a day full of stimulating activity, we will always allow you to fill your day in a way you choose.

Activities include:

Monthly Tea Dance at the Jean Mackie Centre

Weekly movement and music classes

Weekly Zumba Gold classes

Monthly Arts and Crafts Workshops

Weekly Film events played on a large screen projector

Daily in house activities coordinated by the staff

Monthly in house church service

Monthly in house entertainment will be arranged, examples include musicians and singers, mobile zoo, magician and visits from local groups.

All seasonal activities are celebrated and catered for including Birthdays, Easter and Christmas.

You can choose if you want to take part in the activities and outings arranged by the home and your decision will always be respected.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time and tea or coffee and biscuits will always be available. Residents are free to join their friends and family away from the home for excursions, meals or just to have a day out.  You will also have plenty of opportunities to make friends with the other residents and the staff always enjoying spending time having a chat.
